Our Origin
In Memory, In Action.
Paws & Effect was born from a deeply personal loss — the kind that changes how you see the world and, eventually, how you decide to act in it. The organization was founded in memory of a beloved animal whose life ended too soon, not from lack of love, but from lack of access.
That experience revealed a pattern: animals across Florida were dying not because people didn't care, but because the infrastructure to act — the funding, the coordination, the speed — wasn't there when it needed to be.
Paws & Effect exists to close that gap. Grief became infrastructure. Loss became strategy. And every case we fund is an act of remembrance in motion.
